Well this is my very first attempt at a 'blog.' It is fitting that my first words should be centered upon the One who 36 years ago completely changed the entire destiny of my life. The Lord Jesus Christ and His glorious gospel found me in my lostness. At that time, I had no clear understanding of the Biblical Jesus and His gospel. All I knew was that I was unsaved, lost without Christ, and if I were to die without Him in my life I would spend eternity in hell. I am so very thankful and humbled when I think that God brought me to a faithful preacher where the Gospel of Christ was held in high regard and I was confronted with its truth. I never get bored when talking or hearing about Jesus Christ, His grace upon my life, and His glorious gospel. The Gospel of Christ is His "Good Message" from heaven that forgives us of all of our sin, redeems us, reconciles us back to God, and gives us the necessary righteousness we need to spend eternity with God. It is all because of Jesus Christ the eternal, uncreated, immutable, and impeccable Son of God who died upon the cross of Calvary for my sin and rose from the dead. I have eternal salvation. I am saved! For a certainty, one day I will see the One who changed my eternal destiny. I will have the unspeakable privilege to bow before His glorious majesty and resplendent glory and cry out in humble adoration, "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing" (Rev. 5: 12). Until then, I have the joyous pursuit of living for the One who died for me (2 Cor. 5:15).
